Maple Syrup Festivals 2012

A Sugar Bush Breakfast Plus, Cedar Rail Camp north of Scone
Saturday, March 17, 2012
It may not be the biggest Maple Syrup Festival but it will be the first to be held this spring. It will also be a great way for a family to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, 2012. There will be a pancake breakfast, sleigh rides, live entertainment, maple syrup demonstrations, a petting zoo, face painting, treasure hunts, log sawing and much more. There will be something for every member of the family. Also, there will be a bake sale to raise additional funds for the Village of Hope. Fresh maple syrup will be available for purchase at the event. If you need more information, contact Doug and Elaine Schaab at 519-881-1250(day) or 519-363-2702(evening)
Tickets are $10/adult and Children 6-12 are $6. Children 5 and under are free.

What is unique about this Maple Syrup Festival is that the funds raised will go to support the Village of Hope in Zimbabwe. Families can enjoy an inexpensive day in the out of doors and at the same time they will be supporting the Village of Hope as the workers there provide a place of refuge for the AIDS orphans of Zimbabwe. ALL FUNDS RAISED AT THIS EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO THE VILLAGE OF HOPE.
