Grey County has a vibrant tourism industry, hosting 1.8 million visitors in 2007 and bringing in over $241 million in direct expenditures, supporting 2400 full time jobs and contributing $9.9 million in municipal taxes. We have “boiled down” the many stats available from the Province for Grey County into a  list of our Key Performance Indicators. For a full list, check out the Regional Profiles for Grey County-2007 at the Ministry of Tourism website. They also provide a very convenient “GeoStats” page which allows comparison of Grey County with other counties and destinations across Ontario.
 
 
Grey County Tourism undertook a visitor survey during the summer of 2010, with help from many of our chambers and information centres. A summary report is available.
