    The trails pass through conifer plantations and upland hardwood forest on level to rolling land.
    2.5 km of trails are used for hiking and cycling. South of Sideroad 5 the trails extend through property of the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority.

    In this hardwood forest, summer visitors can see a wide variety of wildflowers and ferns.
    1 km of cross-country skiing trails maintained by the Owen Sound Ski Club, are part of an extensive network at the Massie Hills Ski Area, mostly property of the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority. The ski trails intersect the Bruce Trail. Ski User Fee pay box present.
