Fall Colour Report
Welcome to our 2009 Fall Colour Reporting Site! Grey County is a popular destination for scenic fall drives & sightseeing, and we want to make sure you have the latest information on the progress of the colours as the seasons change. We have asked some of our partners around Grey County to take photos from some great vantage points so you can see for yourself the progression of the colour change around the County.

Week 9: October 25 - 31
All of the leaves have now changed, and almost all have fallen to the ground. There are still some areas around the County showing small sections of colour, but for the most part, the fall colour veiwing has come to an end.

Week 8: October 18 - 24
We are reporting 100% colour change this week, as well as some leaf fall due to recent high winds. Much of the colour the remains on the trees is dark reds and golden brown.

Week 7: October 11 - 17
We are reporting 70-80% colour change this week. Because of the recent high winds there is also some leaf fall in areas but still some green areas to report as well.

Week 6: October 4 - 10
This is usually the week that we see our colours peak, but we're still not seeing much more than 60% colour change.

Week 5: September 27 - October 3
We are getting close to the peak in fall colour change & the colours are looking vibrant already!
We are reporting 50-60% colour change this week.

Week 4: September 20-26
Pockets of colour are expanding throughout the County and the green is starting to fade. We are at about 30% colour change.

Week 3: September 13 - 19
Green is still dominant with more patches of red & gold starting to show.

Still mostly green with some hints of colours around the County.

Week 1: August 30 - September 5
Most areas are still very green with little colour peeking through near Meaford.
