The clean, crystal waters of Georgian Bay offer the perfect setting for water activities, swimming or just soaking up the sun.

- Christie Beach is one of the best sand beaches on this part of Georgian Bay. Located at the end of Christie Beach Road, off Highway 26 east of Meaford. Change rooms, washrooms, playground equipment and a picnic shelter are available for public use.
- Memorial Park is located right in the town of Meaford along the shore of Georgian Bay. Its most recognized features are two huge natural rocks jutting up from the water, challenging enthusiastic swimmers to greet them. The shoreline is naturally pebbled. There is a children's playground, picnic pavillion, clean washrooms and a snack bar nearby for your enjoyment.
- Craigleith Provincial Park on Hwy 26 between Blue Mountain and Thornbury offers a unique shoreline experience, featuring long flat shale rock. *Caution advised as the rocks can get slippery* There are also great camping and fishing opportunities along the shoreline here.
- Northwinds Beach is one of the most popular beaches in The Blue Mountains, located just past Craigleith Provincial Park on Hwy 26. A sandy & rocky beach is home to many sea kayakers, board surfers and beach lovers alike.
- Thornbury Harbour also has a small beach for swimming next to the harbour wall. If you're brave enough, take a plunge off the harbour wall!
- Hibou Conservation Area is a scenic 108 hectare day-use area on Georgian Bay. The whole family will enjoy the clear, sheltered waters and two natural sandy beaches of Hibou. Picnic facilities and playground equipment onsite. $3.00 parking fee in effect June - Sept.
- Cedar Hill Park, with its stoney shore and deep cold waters, is located just east of Wiarton along Scenic Grey Road 1. The view is great as you can see the islands and across to Cape Croker Native Reserve. This beach is often used by local scuba divers.
- Centennial Park, located along the western shore of Georgian Bay has a steep ashphalt drive that will take you down to the beach where there are picnic tables, seasonal washrooms and a playground.
- Plunge! Aquatic Centre is the perfect place for kids and adults alike. With numerous indoor & outdoor activities, including a swing rope, slides and diving boards.
- Hanover Regional Aquatic Centre offers indoor swimming facilities for all ages. Conveniently located in downtown Hanover with many amenities nearby.
