Dog Sledding
Dog sledding is an exciting new winter activity that is becoming very popular amongst visitors and locals alike. There is an element of stupefaction as you are being lead through open fields by a team of dogs who highly anticipate your journey as much as you do, in a manmade sled through an abundance of white powder.
Grey County is home to a couple of dog sledding outfitters, both offering their own unique experience and picturesque landscapes. Orientation and guided tours are provided by the outfitters along with a meeting with the dogs in hopes of alleviating any apprehensions.
