Inglis Falls

Inglis Falls, located within Grey Sauble Conservation  just south of Owen Sound is a must-see tourist attraction any time of the year.  Even through the snow, you should be able to see the historical remains of a grist mill.  Starting in 1845, Peter Inglis and his family ran mills which produced flour, bran, wool and lumber for the next 87 years.  Its the perfect illustration of the breathtaking power of a waterfall that cascades 18 metres into a deep gorge at the bottom.  There are over 7km of hiking trails that can also be explored on snowshoes or cross country skis during the winter months.  The Bruce Trail runs right through the Conservation Area as well.  There is also a trail that connects to Weavers Creek Falls down river, in Harrison Park.
