The general store was once the original big box retailer; only it came complete with gossip and a place to tie up your horse. In Grey County, the general store culture is still thriving today. Nestled among old birches and tall pines, overlooking a quiet cove and pristine water, the Fish 'n' Lodge captures spectacular sunrises and provides an evening view of the lights of Owen Sound. The main natural feature of this site is the horseshoe shaped waterfall, named after the Newash Indian tribe who lived in this area at one time.
