This forest consists of hardwood, a conifer plantation and wetland areas. In the gently rolling terrain, summer visitors can see many limestone-loving fern species. The OFSC snowmobile trail travels through this forest and the trail is groomed and maintained by the local snowmobile club. Other permitted uses include hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and hunting.
