Hunting and fishing are valued heritage activities for many Grey County residents and visitors to the area.
Trails pass through conifer plantations and upland hardwood forest on level to rolling land, 2.5 kilometres of trails are used for hiking, and mountain biking. South of Sideroad 5, the trails extend southward through property of the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority. Permitted Forest Trail Activities include hiking, biking, skiing, and hunting.
