The forest houses a portion of the Kolapore Uplands Wilderness Ski Trails, including 4.4 kilometres of marked cross country ski trails maintained by the Kolapore Wilderness Trails Association. Cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, and hiking are permitted on the property, with hiking and cycling best suited from the spring to fall seasons.
