Fall fairs are ingrained in Grey County's history. Most still celebrate the season the way it has been done for well over a century in rural Ontario, with livestock and trained animal shows; bake-offs; fruit, vegetable, flower and preserve contests; parades; quilt and art shows; farm equipment displays; BBQ dinners and live entertainment.
Located across from Fred Raper's Park and in close proximity to the Meaford Museum, this park offers lots of open green space, a splash pad, playground equipment, public washrooms and picnic tables. Pavilion rental is available.
Full service Marina including fuel, repairs, pump-outs & winter storage.
While driving through Meaford, you'll be sure to notice this park, named after one of Meaford's earliest settlers, at the junction of Bayfield and Sykes Streets.
The Meaford Harbour has a significant parkland area, municipal marina and community pavilion with plenty of parking for cars, boats and RV’s.
