Visit the Owen Sound Mill Dam and Fish Ladder -- the first to be built in Ontario! The ladder is maintained by the Sydenham Sportsmen's Association and is used to assist trout and salmon spawn in the spring and fall. Be sure to check out the Owen Sound Salmon Tour in September and October! The sportsmen's club runs a hatchery program further upstream and stocks Georgian Bay with trout and Chinook salmon for sports fishing.
