Farmers' markets across Grey are preparing to open for the 2019 season. With the exception of Owen Sound (which is open year-round) most markets will open in time for the Victoria Day weekend or shortly after, just in time for the first local harvests.
When its time to get outdoors in the spring, the Museum has a heritage herb garden which shoots up new growth every spring - with pioneer kitchen, medicinal and tea herbs. Lots of folks access the Boyne River for fishing from the museum park. Annual speakers series starts every April. This popular event is run the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. until November.
