Since 1974, the South Grey Museum has been a community hub for heritage and culture. We work with wonderful people to put on events, tell stories and bring Grey Highlands together. Our Museum has a collection of local artefacts, archival records, photographs, and an eclectic library of publications for you to explore.
In 2023, the museum's name was changed to the Grey Highlands Museum to reflect the collection and area more accurately.
We have a casual, welcoming atmosphere and are always happy to assist residents and visitors alike to find their own stories and begin their own adventures in Grey Highlands. We love providing programs for students and community groups, and we strive to nurture cohesion and understanding in the community.
