Tom Thomson Heritage Plaque
One of Canada's best-known painters, Thomson grew up in Leith and worked as a commercial artist before he started to paint in oils. His canvases of the forests of northern Ontario reveal a distinctive style of painting and were a strong influence on the Group of Seven. Located in Leith Cemetery, where his grave is located, off County Road 15, Leith.
