Farmers' markets across Grey are preparing to open for the 2018 season. With the exception of Owen Sound (which is open year-round) most markets will open in time for the Victoria Day weekend or shortly after, just in time for the first local harvests.
Grey County is quickly becoming known as one of Ontario's prime destinations for lovers of wine, craft beer and cider. With two award-winning wineries, three craft brewers and three cideries offering tastings, and two hop farms offering on-farm special events, there are lots of reasons to raise a glass to (or in) Grey.
Raise a glass in Grey! We boast 8 beer, wine and cider producers and you can visit 6 of them to enjoy tastings and pairings, take tours, purchase beverages, and enjoy pub-style meals.
The Greenbelt and partners across Ontario have created five self-guided Brewery Discovery Routes: complete itineraries for folks looking to get out and explore breweries, cideries, Feast On restaurants, and local attractions.
