The Community Waterfront Heritage Centre (CWHC) is located on Owen Sound’s picturesque harbour at 1155 1st Ave West, in a historic 1932 CN Rail Station, it is the last train station of its kind in Ontario. The museum features artifacts & archives, working train models, a 1930s CNR caboose and the 1953 CNR train car.
Spring is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the area. Join us at Metcalfe Rock for a half day of rock climbing or a half day of caving. Both tours are guided and we provide all equipment. Or come over to the Beaver River and enjoy a 1, 2 or 5 hour paddle down the river. You can choose from going with a guide or going on your own.

The new Kiwanis Sk8 & Bike Park for children and youth is located at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre. It's FREE of charge and is accessible to all people. The recreation centre next door offers twin ice pads and also houses the Owen Sound and Area YMCA, with fitness facilities and indoor pools.

Ontario’s first mountain coaster offers an exciting downhill adventure at Blue Mountain! Ridge Runner takes riders on an exhilarating coaster experience as it twists and turns 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) down the mountain through varied terrain. Riders control their own speeds—up to 42 km/h (26 mph)!
Early Spring Hours (March 29 - May 14):
Spring is a wondrous time to experience Scenic Caves Nature Adventures.
During April, the Park may be closed for a short time in preparation for “green season activities”. Check website for details or call before you come.

Story Book Park is a childrens playground for kids all ages, with rides, trains, animals, mini golf, restaurant and a waterpark.
