Grey County is home to hundreds of small farms producing top-quality food sought locally and around the world. Specialty food stores and farmers' markets across the county are packed with home-grown products and we have a fast-growing reputation for our excellent artisanal wine, beer and cider.
Farmers' markets across Grey are opening for the 2019 season. With the exception of Owen Sound (which is open year-round) most markets will open in time for the Victoria Day weekend or shortly after, just in time for the first local harvests.
June is around the corner, which means locally grown and raised food is everywhere in Grey! Farmers’ markets are a great way for visitors to discover lots of fresh, local foods in one place and to meet the people who grow, raise and make it.
We have six wonderful markets you can visit in Grey.
Are you looking for good food to go but don’t want to visit a fast food chain for the same old drive-through burger or bagel? Check out these fantastic grab-and-go options from local scratch kitchens all across Grey County.
