Introducing a thrilling new nocturnal winter adventure!  Cross-country skiing at night by headlamp.  For five nights in 2016, x-country ski until 8pm as dusk falls and transitions to sparkling starlight.  This non-guided activity offers skate & classic trails to explore, with the reflection of glistening snow to light your path.  Rental headlamps and equipment are available.

Owen Sound’s own Jon Jasper-Lawless (Swim Good / First Rate People) joins Winnipeg loop pedal artist Rayannah and bilingual folk duo Georgian Bay for the first date of their Southern Ontario tour. Sharing an affinity for soundscapes, all three acts come together on March 16th at Heartwood Concert Hall.  For his first performance in Owen Sound since the summer of 2015, Jon is set to collaborate with longtime friend Rayannah.

Juno nominees and winners of the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the Year, Amanda Walther and Sheila Carabine of Dala write and sing in harmony best described as angelic. These two best friends met in their high school music class in 2002; they have since released five albums and toured extensively across North America.

Professional staff members guide your group on a 1 ½ to 2 hour romp through an enchanting winter wonderland. Experience beautiful trails that wind through a mature forest of 100 foot tall trees, sparkling views of the countryside at the Suspension Bridge and breathtaking lookouts from the top of the Niagara Escarpment.

Opening reception Saturday March 12 from 2 to 4pm.  The Marsh Street Painters is a not-for-profit group of artists from the Town of Blue Mountains, Meaford and Collingwood, who are united in their love of painting in the Georgian Bay area. This exhibit is an opportunity to share our work with members of the public and to offer for sale a wide variety of beautiful art, much of which depicts the lovely scenery which surrounds us.
