Avid experienced canoeist and kayaker, Nancy Scott was a park planner for 25 years, doing field reconnaissance to prepare management plans for such provincial parks as Woodland Caribou, Wabakimi, Mississagi and Killarney. She will paddle in to the South Grey Museum on September 26th to speak about Lake Nipigon,  the primary watershed flowing into Lake Superior.

Gallery de Boer-Fine Art invites visitors to immerse themselves in an outstanding and diverse selection of traditional and contemporary Indigenous art. The Owen Sound Artists’ Co-op Legacy Gallery hosts a weird and wonderful exhibit of collaborative projects from four members of the Backroad Design Syndicate.  Originally formed to recognize craft in Grey and Bruce with the beautiful book Backroad Craft, this enthusiastic group meet regularly to share their skills and ideas.  COLLAB, features work intertwining 4 mediums; hot glass, wood, textiles and paper.  The result is a charming collection

September 8th: Exhibit Opening: “Final Victory – the Last 100 Days”. 

The exhibit unearths the events of the last 100 days of the First World War and how the armistice came about. Step into the past and learn about what it was like as the war began its journey to its end.

Hours: Tuesday to Sunday - 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Entrance Fee: $5 per person
