Hanover Artist Bev Morgan will again open her art studio doors for visitors during the Autumn Leaves Studio Tours. She will be hosting local artists: Leslie Manning (Jewellery), Allan Simpson (Acrylic, Oil), Leona Kennedy (Watercolours, Acrylic), Wayne T Broderick (Acrylic, Oil, Pastel). Bev is one location out of 18  studios. Attend the 2018 tour and make it a weekend get-away.

The Meaford Scarecrow and Family Festival is saddling up for fun as Scarecrows Go Western. From mid-September to mid-October scarecrows will be invading the town celebrating everything western -yee haw! Scarecrows vignettes on western themes will appear around down especially down town and on Station Hill. Business will join the fun by decorating. On Friday September 28 the Scarecrow Invasion Parade will start on Sykes St.

The Owen Sound Artists’ Co-op Legacy Gallery hosts a weird and wonderful exhibit of collaborative projects from four members of the Backroad Design Syndicate.  Originally formed to recognize craft in Grey and Bruce with the beautiful book Backroad Craft, this enthusiastic group meet regularly to share their skills and ideas.  COLLAB, features work intertwining 4 mediums; hot glass, wood, textiles and paper.  The result is a charming collection

The exhibit unearths the events of the last 100 days of the First World War and how the armistice came about. Step into the past and learn about what it was like as the war began its journey to its end.
