The County has officially proclaimed twenty-twenty as the year to gather. To gather a basket full of local produce, meats, and spirits from a local farm store or market. To gather your friends and family around a big table (or kitchen island), to celebrate each other and the local bounty before you. To gather around a restaurant table and appreciate the love the chefs bring to your plate. It’s the year of you, and your connection to this place through the food you eat and the people you spend time with.
We begin June 27th with our signature Veterans Ceremony and exhibit opening at 11am. At noon we will be holding a BBQ that is free to all Veterans, all others pay only $5.00 per person. Chapman’s Ice Cream will be supplying ice cream to all those who purchase a lunch on Saturday. We will also be offering a variety of youth and family activities and crafts, military re-enactments and other interesting displays. The outside event is open to the public at no charge. Admission to the Museum is $5 per adult, children are admitted free with an adult. We will have a special attraction today. With your donation, you will be able to get your photo taken on Snoopy's dog house or at the famous Lucy psychiatrist booth! This is just one of the great displays that will be onsite. Plan to attend. This is one event you don't want to miss.
