Located along the southern shore of the Georgian Bay, Grey County has established a solid reputation for the quality of the area’s cycling opportunities courtesy of an abundance of rolling hills and quiet country roads. As luck would have it, the locals possess a flair for turning the spoils of the area's fertile soil into many tasty liquid refreshments, aka beer, wine and cider.
2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Institute of Planners and 25 years of the Registered Professional Planner designation in Ontario. To celebrate these historic milestones, please join Grey County and Lakeland District Planners for a free interactive event on planning in Grey County and Canada. The evening will include discussions on:
- what urban and rural planners do
- why and how we plan
- the history and future of planning
- how planning shapes your community
Participantes will also get to try their hands at planning. Using LEGO® we want you to design a community using your new found planning knowledge (and creativity of course).
Light refreshments will be provided. No pre-registration is necessary.
