Chance and Change : New Work by Joan Hawksbridge and Barbara Sprague

Chance and Change is a joint exhibition of works on paper by Grey/Bruce artists Joan Hawksbridge and Barbara Sprague. Although their technique and choice of media is different, each artist has experimented with the way in which chance is part of their art making practice. Their process in each case has involved being open to change and exploring the freedom of ‘letting it happen’, while retaining control and precision. By letting the randomness of chance carry through the creative process, each artist has found their own form of expression. 

Change and Change runs from Nov. 7 to 30 at Grey Gallery in downtown Owen Sound.
