Fall fairs are ingrained in Grey County's history. Most still celebrate the season the way it has been done for well over a century in rural Ontario, with livestock and trained animal shows; bake-offs; fruit, vegetable, flower and preserve contests; parades; quilt and art shows; farm equipment displays; BBQ dinners and live entertainment.
Join us inside the museum for Construction Junction as we explore the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)! Try out hands-on STEM activities with Deb Haswell from the Rocking Horse between 11am and 2pm.
At 10:30, little ones can enjoy a morning of stories, songs, and crafts! Tammy Cruickshank, Grey County Early Years Literacy Facilitator, will lead a fun-filled program of hands-on activities for toddlers and pre-school aged children. *This activity is free and does not require purchasing admission.
Outside in the village, meet up with the Sydenham Bruce Trail Club between 11 am and 3 pm for a snowshoe adventure! Some snowshoes will be available for loan (but bring yours if you have them)!
Take on a scavenger hunt through the galleries. Pick up lunch in the café between 11-3 from Sail Restaurant and Catering.
Regular admission rates apply for all activities except for the toddler program, which is free of charge. All activities FREE for members!
