In the time of COVID-19, our farmers' markets have adapted to social distancing safety requirements.
Live The Dash is a new project headed by Paul Woolner featuring original roots material, backed up by some of Grey-Bruce county’s most seasoned touring musicians, including guitarist Roger Williamson.
They have just recorded a five song EP and will be launching the CD release at the Garafraxa Café!
After opening for Paul Riddick & The Sidemen at this year’s Mazelpalooza Festival in the Beaver Valley, and a very enjoyable performance at the Garafraxa Café in November, the band is looking forward to bringing their roots and blues material back to Durham.
Paul has recorded with the likes of Gary Craig (Blackie & The Rodeo Kings), Chris Whitley and Paul Chapman. Members of the backing group have toured with The MacKenzie Blues Band and Al Lerman (Fathead), among many others.
The band’s name is a reference to remember that between our arrival and our inevitable departure, often represented as a dash between dates, we can fully live the gift that life gives us.
