The County has officially proclaimed twenty-twenty as the year to gather. To gather a basket full of local produce, meats, and spirits from a local farm store or market. To gather your friends and family around a big table (or kitchen island), to celebrate each other and the local bounty before you. To gather around a restaurant table and appreciate the love the chefs bring to your plate. It’s the year of you, and your connection to this place through the food you eat and the people you spend time with.
New in the Galleries! “Impressions” by Dean Raeburn-Bell from February 25 to April 7.
Following his successful 2017 exhibit “Stokes”, local artist Dean Raeburn-Bell returns to Meaford Hall with “Impressions”. This show and art sale is a compilation of recent oil paintings from his work at Fuller House Art Studio in Meaford. Dean is eager to share his impressions of the world's natural beauty. Perhaps the viewer will connect and be affected by his interpretations of local and Canadian settings. Inspired recently by black and white, many works displayed use vibrant colour, thickly applied paint and bold brush work. Dean's works are posted at www.fullerhouseartstudio.com
