In order to avoid crowded hiking locations this fall, we suggest discovering some of these lesser known gems, where the colours are just as stunning.
The Pottawatomi Spinners and Weavers Guild will be holding their annual sale at the Owen Sound Public Library on Friday Nov. 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday Nov 17 from 10:00 am to 7:00 p.m. There will be hand-made articles for sale, made by guild members, a variety of woven, knit, felted, crocheted and hand spun items. This year there will also be vendors with tools and fibre. The sale is perfect for shopping in time for Christmas. Admission is free; don't miss this very special event. It only comes once a year!
