Who doesn't love a good animal story?

In July / August, if it's sunny (aka not raining) and it's Sunday - join an expert from the Beautiful Joe Heritage Society for a leisurely guided walking tour of Beautiful Joe Park, the final resting place of Canada's most famous dog. 

The 30 minute informative tour features:

• the tale of Meaford's dog known the world over,
• the life of the Canadian who made him so famous
• the story of this unique park, the monuments and its rich history - and its future
• lots of interesting, amusing and sometimes emotional anecdotes  - even strange coincidences

You'll enjoy this relaxed walk in nature, and you'll help keep Beautiful Joe's story alive.  Tours are free*

Just a short walk to downtown Meaford and its lovely waterfront - or enjoy a picnic in the park.
