Sunny Sunday Tours of Beautiful Joe Park

Join an expert from the Beautiful Joe Heritage Society for a guided walking tour of this unique park in downtown Meaford. 

You'll learn about:

•  this Meaford dog that was once famous internationally and about the person that made him famous - over 130 years ago!  
• the various monuments that celebrate the animal / human bond and how the park came to be
• see the cross from the World Trade Center wreckage and learn its story
• and for variety, a little nature and feature trees are discussed

Tours take approximately 30 minutes.  The footing is level and there are benches strategically placed throughout this serene and shady park.

Picnic tables are available, a tap is located at the pavilion and a port-o-potty is onsite.  

Dogs are welcome but must be on-leash.
