Fall fairs are ingrained in Grey County's history. Most still celebrate the season the way it has been done for well over a century in rural Ontario, with livestock and trained animal shows; bake-offs; fruit, vegetable, flower and preserve contests; parades; quilt and art shows; farm equipment displays; BBQ dinners and live entertainment.
The Walter's Falls Group of Artists celebrate their 20th Anniversary Show, with contributions from 24 regular, returning and guest artists. The Group prides itself on presenting a wide range of imaginatively conceived and expertly crafted two- and three-dimensional artwork. Friday, August 25, patrons can enjoy home-made hors d'oeuvres and sinful sweets at our 7-10 pm gala opening. Then the Show continues through Saturday and Sunday, with artists on hand to chat about their work.
