Join us to hear about Species at Risk and what we can do to help them.  Tom Nudds, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Integrated Biology, U. of Guelph will talk about the current status of the Endangered Species Act in Ontario.  Tom has been actively involved in Species at Risk legislation and is still doing research in the field of species-at-risk ecology and management.

The Great War and the Second World War had thousands of men and women who readily enlisted as soon as the call to war came, but what of the conscientious objectors and peace activists who thought there could and should be a peaceful resolution? This exhibit looks at those people who urged us all to give peace a chance.

There was a wide range of nationalities that fought in the First and Second World Wars. In Grey-Bruce, members of the Chippewas of Nawash and the Saugeen First Nation enlisted in record numbers as did many First Nations members from across Canada. This exhibit pays respect to those brave men and women who contributed during the First and Second World Wars.

Spring breathes fresh life into the Legacy Gallery as member Linda Bester mounts a 30-year retrospective for the months of April and May. This celebration of art includes oil, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media, sketches, drawings, charcoal and pastel, along with written and supportive material. Linda’s two artistic passions, music and painting, are highlighted in this intimate look into her creative process.
