Come and discover a very beautiful section of the Tom Tomson Trail. This short 2.5 km self guided hike is along the 22nd Sideroad allowance between Grey Road 112 and the 11th line (near the Roebuck Camground). The trail passes through pristine hardwood bush and descends via several switchbacks to the first of two foot bridges constructed by volunteers..

Walk in the footsteps of Tom Thomson at Leith

Tom Thomson died 100 years ago and is buried in Leith. To commemorate his life there will be a Graveside Memorial at 2:30 pm on July 21 at the HIstoric Leith Church. It is thought that Tom used to walk along what is now Tom Thomson Lane towards Owen Sound. We invite you to walk in Tom's footsteps from the Historic Leith Church along this extraordinary section of the Tom Thomson Trail which passes Tom’s boyhood home.
