When 400,000 British and Allied troops end up trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, following a catastrophic defeat, a number of civilian boats set out to rescue them before they are decimated by the approaching Nazi forces.

Scenic Caves Nordic Centre is participating in helping to make this the “biggest day on snow, all year” with a special offer: Free Youth day trail pass and equipment rental with purchase of one adult day trail pass. It’s an international annual snow festival promoting the recreational activities snow offers to all ages. Open 9am – 5pm (last ticket sold at 3:30pm).

The Ski Industry, the Apple Industry, and Indigenous History.

Please join us for the launch of these films at Thornbury Town Hall on January 27th.
Doors open at 2:30pm and films start at 3:00pm.

Cost is free, but donations to the museum are appreciated.
