Fall fairs are well underway in Grey County. Most still celebrate the season the way it has been done for well over a century in rural Ontario, with livestock and trained animal shows; bake-offs; fruit, vegetable, flower and preserve contests; parades; quilt and art shows; farm equipment displays; BBQ dinners and live entertainment.
Grey County is home to many talented artists and fall is the best time to tour the backroads while visiting their unique studios. Locally, there are five studio tours running from late August until Thanksgiving weekend.
