It's been a long, snowy winter for most of Ontario, but spring is on the way! In Grey County, spring is more than just a change in season—it’s a time to gather for one of Canada’s sweetest traditions: maple syrup season.
As spring awakens, so do the maple trees. With warm days above freezing and crisp, cold nights, the ideal conditions set the stage for sap to flow. Here in Grey County, maple season usually runs from mid-March through mid-April. Explore a maple festival, savour sweet maple treats, and embrace the magic of this cherished tradition.
