Enchiladas, Rice and Chicken Consome Workshop with Mestizo Academy

Get a taste of Mexico at Grey Roots! Join Maria of Mestizo Academy for hands-on cooking classes that explore the bold flavours and rich traditions of Mexican cuisine. Each small-group session includes cooking, tasting, and take-home recipes. Offered in English and Spanish.

This workshop celebrates traditional Mexican cooking with Enchiladas de Mole - corn tortillas filled with chicken and topped with a rich, historic mole sauce of chiles, chocolate, and spices.

We’ll serve them with Arroz a la Mexicana, a savory rice with garlic and vegetables, and a light Chicken Consommé made from the same broth, finished with herbs and lime.
