The holiday seasons brings us many parades and celebrations for the little (and big) ones to see the big guy in red, and share their Christmas wish lists.
Holiday Parades:
76th Owen Sound Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade - Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 5:00pm
The parade will proceed south along 2nd Avenue East to 8th Street East and then east to 3rd Avenue East and then north on 3rd Avenue East then to 9th Street and 3rd Avenue East. Santa will finish the parade and proceed to Owen Sound’s City Hall front entrance where he and his elves will greet the children!
Markdale Drive-Thru Santa Claus Parade - Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.
Stay warm and cozy in your car, and wave to the float folks and Santa. There will be goodie bags for the kids and parents from local businesses. HO HO HOpe to see you there!
Durham Santa Claus Parade - Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 12:30pm
The Durham Firefighters Associations is proud to present a "Hometown Christmas" parade, celebrating Durham's 150 year homecoming.

Town of Hanover Santa Claus Parade - Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 7:00pm
The Hanover Rotary Club is proud to present the 2021 parade "Miracle on 10th Street". View the parade along 10th Street.
Meaford Kinsmen Club Santa Claus Parade - Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 7:15pm
Parade route Highway 26 - Sykes Street starting at Ivan Street and ending at Collingwood Street.
Feversham Santa Claus Parade & Breakfast - Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 10:30am.
The Feversham & District Kinsmen invite you to join them at the Osprey Recreation Centre for the Santa Claus Parade & Breakfast. Breakfast is at 9:00am and the parade starts at 10:30am.
Neustadt Santa Claus Parade - Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 5:00pm
Presented by the Neustadt Firefighters Association. Parade starts at the arena and goes down Queen Street, Mill Street and William Street.
Holstein Non-Motorized Christmas Parade - Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00pm
Come back in time once again with us to the non-motorized Holstein Santa Claus Parade, starting at the Egremont Optimist Centre.
Chatsworth Santa Claus Parade - Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:30am
The Chatsworth Agricultural Society invites you to join them for the Santa Claus parade starting at 10:30am. Christmas in the Village events are taking place throughout the day.

Holiday Magic at Blue Mountain - Friday, November 19, 2021 - January 2, 2022
The Village is wrapped up in garlands and bows and illuminated with the sights and sounds of the holidays. Stroll the 1km Light Trail and enjoy enchanting moments around every corner while you shop, dine and celebrate the magic of the season.
Holiday Magic in Owen Sound's River District - Saturday, November 20, 2021
Join the River District as we bring a little Holiday Magic into your life. Shops open late, specials throughout the River District, buskers, warming stations, contests and giveaways, and even pictures with Santa.
Owen Sound Festival of Northern Lights Opening Celebration - November 20, 2021
Music and Dance Groove starts at 6:00pm with fireworks and lighting of the lights at 7:00pm.

Enjoy the beauty of Owen Sound in the winter season each evening from 5pm to 10pm, as nearly 400 displays and 25+ kilometres of lights illuminate the harbour, the Sydenham riverbanks, the downtown core, and Harrison Park.
