Just like you, we’re looking forward to exploring all that our naturally, beautiful area has to offer. Plan the perfect back road driving route to see the changing colours throughout September and October. Watch the salmon jump and make their way up the fish ladders in Thornbury and Owen Sound! Take a mid-week trip to tour the many quaint villages and towns that dot our rural countryside. Look through unique shops and art galleries in our downtowns, whose open doors and window decorations welcome you inside. Find local eateries just in time for lunch, and sweet bakeries that specialize in home-style butter tarts. This fall, while in the company of family and friends, you’re looking for the best ways to play, stay, and eat.

Have a Day on The Town! - With the fresh air, running water, crisp apples and smiling faces, make sure Clarksburg is on your list to visit this fall! It may be a village but there’s a full day of activities to do here. Each activity is a 10-minute drive apart and you’ll enjoy the rural scenery all the way. I grew up in this quaint town but even today, I’m still discovering gems in Clarksburg.
North on Bruce Street - I am lucky enough to work in Thornbury, but rarely have the time to enjoy everything it has to offer; for a town with such a small footprint, it sure has a lot going on! So, I sweatered up and stepped out to check out some new instant favourites on the other side of Bruce Street.
