From May 30 – June 2, 2024, cinema enthusiasts, filmmakers, and artists will gather in Blue Mountain Village to discover the best in world cinema in the majestic setting of The Blue Mountain. The 4-day festival includes curating over 20 International and Canadian films, an industry creative forum, parties, special guest appearances, and unique Mountain & Village experiences!

Taking place along the shores of Georgian Bay in Kelso Beach Park, Owen Sound, the 49th Annual Summerfolk Festival awaits! Experience music across two concert stages on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, alongside numerous workshop stages on Saturday. Take part in children’s activities, open mic sessions, captivating demonstrations, circus workshops, a bustling vendor market, and an array of additional attractions.

AGORA: Path of Light

Beautiful and rarely seen automobiles will herald in a continuing tradition of distinction and elegance on the shores of Georgian Bay. On Friday, the Participant Tour will take place throughout Grey County. On Saturday, Cars & Coffee and Concours d'Lemons will fill the streets of downtown Owen Sound and Automotive Seminars at the Roxy Theatre. On Sunday, the Concours d'Elegance will be held on the 18th fairway of Cobble Beach Golf Resort. Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance! 27th Annual Meaford Scarecrow Invasion

27th Annual Meaford Scarecrow Invasion, Meaford

The invasion of scarecrows will happen again in 2024! From early September until the end of October, Meaford will be taken over by scarecrows of various shapes and sizes, reviving the community's cherished fall tradition of 27 years! Enjoy a scenic drive around Meaford to see the creativity and enthusiasm of businesses and residents adorning their properties with scarecrows and fall-themed decor. The Scarecrow Parade & Family Festival will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Experience the enchantment of Holiday Magic at Blue, a timeless celebration of the holiday season. Enjoy festive décor throughout the day, lively animation, and entertainment on weekends and holidays, along with a captivating one-kilometer light trail illuminating the Village each evening. Following January 5th, witness the transformation to Blumination as the Village lights up until mid-March!

Festival of Northern Lights

Festival of Northern Lights, Owen Sound
November 16, 2024 – January 5, 2025

Dazzling light displays will be lit up every night from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., from mid-November to early January. Over 400 displays and 25 kilometers of lights will illuminate Sydenham riverbanks, downtown core, and Harrison Park. Mark your calendars for the opening ceremony, complete with live music, fireworks, and much more on November 16th.
