Hanover Town Park
A large green space is adjacent to the Saugeen River, and includes a canoe launch, great fishing along the Saugeen River, a picnic pavilion and several play structures for the kids.
Hanover Community Trails
Offering 11km of trails in the Saugeen River Valley around the Town of Hanover. Enjoy the fantastic views from the 91m pedestrian bridge over the Saugeen River (access via 16th Avenue North).
Saugeen River Access #3
There is a Saugeen River canoe access point #3 in the Hanover Town Park. This is the official beginning of the Saugeen River canoe route as per the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA).
Heritage Square
Heritage Square is the Town's jewel in downtown Hanover. The Square provides a number of space options (Music Garden, Amphitheatre, Plaza area) for special events, wedding photos, concerts or your leisurely pleasure. It is also home to the Eat Well Market on Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The Heritage Square is also the home to the Labyrinth of Distinction. The Labyrinth of Distinction recognizes persons of Hanover heritage having earned distinction bestowing pride and honour on the Hanover Community.
