Bognor Marsh Management Area

One of the largest marsh systems in Grey County, this area is 668 hectares of escarpment upland forests, three major marshes, Ducks Unlimited dam, Bruce Trail access, reforested areas, and several small springs.

Irish Mountain Lookout

Irish Mountain Lookout

This lookout offers a perfect view of Georgian Bay and the rolling countryside below. There is a parking area and picnic shelter.

Trout Hollow (Bighead River)

Trout Hollow Trail follows the valley of the beautiful light blue Bighead River, through a mixture of woodlands and meadows, as well as the remnants of past industries.

Difficulty: Easy/Moderate/Difficult
Parking: All Year

Silent Valley BTC Nature Reserve

Multiple trails visit several interesting sites; the ruins of an early pioneer’s homestead, including their hand-dug well and the remains of an airplane crash. Interpretive signs at both sites.
