Can you think of a better way to warm up after a Grey County winter adventure? Many of our local wine, beer and cider producers offer unique tasting experiences from heated patios and fireside tasting bars.
While some of the igloo experiences have small heaters, and the firepits provide some warmth, please be sure to dress for the weather for any outdoor tasting experience and BYOB (bring your own blanket) if you wish. Advance reservations are required, unless otherwise noted.
Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery
You can now book a table in the indoor tasting room, a seat around the outdoor firepit or reserve a cozy igloo. Open Thursday to Sunday from 11am - 5pm, reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. Woodfire pizza is available on Saturdays. You can also try a mindfulness snow show walk through the vineyard, weather permitting.
Georgian Hills Vineyards
Enjoy a personalized wine tasting at the bar, cozy up by an outdoor fire pit, or snuggle up inside the tasting room with a rotating menu paired with the best selection in cool climate. Open 7 days a week, year round. Due to limited seating capacity we request that you make a reservation ahead of time.
Grey and Gold Cider
Warm up around the fire pit or enjoy some award winning cider inside the Cider Shack. Reservations recommended. Bottle shop and tastings winter hours Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 PM, or by appointment.
Northwinds Brewpub at Blue
Enjoy locally brewed beer and a full food menu on the patio, right at the base of Blue Mountain. There is overhead heating on the patio and a wicked view of the slopes.
Spy Cider House and Distillery
Open for apres on select Saturdays in February in March from 12:00pm - 6:00pm. Enjoy cider and spirits flights, and a light small bites menu. Spots are limited and walk-ins aren't guaranteed. Please book in advance by emailing info@spydistillery.com.

Still Fields Brewery
Open year round with a cozy heated bar, fire pits and heated A-frames to keep you warm. They have blankets on site but feel free to bring your own as well. No reservations are needed, it’s first come, first served.
Thornbury Craft Cider & Brewhouse
Enjoy your beer, cider or wine tasting in one of four igloos (reservations required) or bundle up next to a cozy firepit on the patio. A small food menu is also available. All indoor dining space is first come, first served, no reservations available.
Neustadt Springs Brewery
Come out to the brewery and soak in the historic atmosphere while you enjoy their phenomenal beers. The cozy taproom is an immersive year-round experience while our new patio is perfect for warmer days.
