The County has officially proclaimed twenty-twenty as the year to gather. To gather a basket full of local produce, meats, and spirits from a local farm store or market. To gather your friends and family around a big table (or kitchen island), to celebrate each other and the local bounty before you. To gather around a restaurant table and appreciate the love the chefs bring to your plate. It’s the year of you, and your connection to this place through the food you eat and the people you spend time with.
Guests are suspended into the forest on a guide-line and move through the courses from tree-to-tree facing challenging elements and their own thresholds for height and adventure. Timber Challenge’s seven rope courses feature suspension bridges, ladders, cargo nets, zip lines and much more—75 aerial elements in all! Reaching 15.2 m (50 ft) above the forest floor, courses are geared to three levels of difficulty: Green (beginners), Blue (intermediate), and Black (expert). This attraction is closed for the winter season.
