As the temperatures start to cool and Grey County’s canvas begins to display vibrant reds, oranges, yellows and purples, it is the perfect time to tour studios of the talented artists who call this area home. The majority of West Rocks Management Area is located on top of the Niagara Escarpment in a upland hardwood forest with many fern species. There is a location located in-between the 9th Street West and 8th Street West access points that provides a lookout over the City of Owen Sound. The parking lot for this area is located on Concession Road #3 in Georgian Bluffs. Approximately 4,327 metres of Bruce Trail meanders through this property, with an additional trail system linking other trails to the Bruce Trail. West Rocks property is 89.9 hectares (222acres) and is owned by Grey Sauble Conservation Authority.
