Fall Studio Tours in Grey County

Grey County is home to many talented artists and fall is the best time to tour the backroads while visiting their unique studios. Locally, there are five studio tours running from late August until Thanksgiving weekend. Read on to find out which tour suits your style and interests best.

Walter’s Falls Group of Artists
The Walter's Falls Group of Artists has held annual exhibitions since 1998 in the Walter's Falls Community Centre on the weekend following the Summerfolk Festival in August. (usually the last weekend in August)

The Annual Saugeen Autumn Leaves Studio Tour
Every fall the artists of the Autumn Leaves Studio Tour invite the public into their homes and studios. The range of mediums include glass, watercolours, pottery and ceramics, acrylics and oils, fiber art, wood, preserves, print, and metal. You'l be warmed by the experience of country roads, inspiring studios and this amazing network of Canadian Art.  Usually takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Tour several studios and galleries open for your shopping pleasure. Great art and beautiful fall scenery in Bruce, Grey and Southern Georgian Bay! What could be better? No appointment necessary.  We have some of the best artists in the region. Join us for another great art weekend! Without question, you'll see something you'll love. Usually takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving.

The Blue Mountain Tour of the Arts
Join us for a fabulous weekend of open studios in the beautiful Town of the Blue Mountains, ON. Located just 2 hours north of Toronto, our studios are within a 20 minute drive of each other and many within walking distance.

Our local artists invite you into their studios to learn what inspires and motivates them. From pottery and sculpture to jewlery, textiles, photography and paintings, our well established artists all have their own innovative way of interpreting what they are passionate about. Takes place on Thanksgiving weekend.

Upland hardwood forest and conifer plantations cover rugged terrain and provides many scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Wide trails on rolling terrain with some sandy areas. Due to recent ATV activity these trails have become somewhat eroded and much underlying coarse rock has been turned up resulting in difficult sections.

This busy trail system caters to a variety of users including hikers and equestrians. Moderately technical singletrack through rolling mixed forest with some sandy areas and some good technical descents.

Looping trails featuring both single track and wide track trails. The trail tread is mainly sand and grass with some rocky sections and drains very quickly. The trails traverse moderate to steep rolling hills among hardwood and pine plantation forests and are ideal for an afternoon of riding.
