Arnott General Store, Moreston Village
If you truly wish to transcend time, the best place to experience an original general store is at Grey Roots Museum & Archives. They have recently added a historically accurate general store to Moreston Heritage Village. The Arnott General Store exhibit, styled after a rural general store from 1925, is stocked with nearly 700 artefacts and over 1500 replica products. You can visit the Arnott General Store and the rest of the heritage village seven days a week between 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., from Canada Day to Labour Day weekend. Please note that you cannot shop at this general store.
