The Beaver River, navigable from Kimberley to Heathcote is a popular paddling route. Named for the many Beaver found along its 40 kilometres, this river was used as a transportation route during the 19th century.

One of Grey County's most historically significant rivers offers a great paddle from Harrison Park in Owen Sound to the East Boat Launch.  Also one of the most picturesque rivers with views of marshland, historical homes, the Niagara Escarpment, wildlife and birds. 

Offering spectacular views of Georgian Bay, Loree Forest offers good trails for the intermediate to novice rider. Smooth, fast singletrack runs through mature forest along the Escarpment. For a more challenging trail head down Camperdown Road trail. Just don’t expect to be able to ride back up again! It’s a big climb.
