Starting from one of several park and ride locations, either in the town centre or closer to the trailhead, follow the east bay shoreline out from Owen Sound. Enjoy waterviews across the inlet, once an important commercial shipping port for the region, now a hub for recreational boaters. Take a break from the quiet waterside ride to explore the 2 km beach or wetlands located in the spectacular Hibou Conservation Area, along the southern shoreline of Georgian Bay.
