The Leonard E. Shore Memorial Library opened its doors on Dec. 2, 1995, replacing the Thornbury Public Library and the Township of Collingwood Public Library. The library is all on a single floor, focusing on a central garden courtyard. The high-arched ceilings and many windows contribute to a feeling of space and the corner fireplace creates a cozy place to curl up with a good book.
